History
The history of
La Ciminiera Country House dates back to quite a long time ago: The house has dominated the surrounding countryside (that develops 350 metres above sea level) since around the half of the nineteenth century, long before radio, cars and light bulbs made their first appearance. The house was situated a short distance from an ancient brick kiln featuring a
very high chimney that still dominates the surrounding area: “
La Ciminiera” got its name from that old chimney.
