Country House
Ancient manor houses always retain a great fascination.

According to ancient traditions, La Ciminiera offers guests the possibility to spend their holidays in an ancient manor house provided with terracotta-tiled floor and period furniture and furnishings surrounded by a well-kept garden featuring rose beds, oleanders, hydrangeas, cranesbills, lavender, sour cherry trees, holm-oaks and lime trees.
Walking around the manor house, guests will have the possibility to enjoy a breathtaking view over the surrounding countryside dotted with sunflower fields, vineyards, olive crops and clayey gullies.
An outstanding combination of wonderful colours changing with the seasons.
The country house is situated halfway between the plain valleys overlooking the Adriatic Sea and the charming area of the Castelli di Jesi, situated on the slopes of the Apennines.
Among the enchanting Castelli di Jesi, the nearest one is Staffolo, a small Medieval village also known as “the hill of the Verdicchio” since this local fruity white wine is produced in the surrounding area.

La Ciminiera Country House is operated by the Tomassetti Bastucci family which aims at offering guests utmost comfort and relax.
You will be welcomed with great pleasure.

La Ciminiera Country House boasts a century-old history: in the mid nineteenth century, long before the invention of the radio, the car and the bulb, this charming manor house dominated the surrounding countryside towering 350 metres above sea level. A short distance from it was a brick kiln provided with a high chimney which is still silhouetted against the sky and gave the country house the name “la Ciminiera” (the Chimney).
